Title: Salt Rub
Categories: Misc *
Yield: 16 Ounces

2cKosher salt (or any coarse salt)
1cAlmond oil (or coconut, avocado or olive oil)

Coarse salt added to oil and massaged into your skin removes dead surface cells and dirt while simultaneously lubricating the skin. Never use this treatment on your face or on skin that has broken out, as it could be very irritating.

Mix the salt and oil together until it forms a tick paste. While in the tub or shower, take a handful of the paste and massage it into your skin, starting with your feet (be careful, as the oil will make your feet very slippery). Massage the paste all over your body. When you have finished and your body is coverd, rinse off with warm water and pat dry. Do not use soap or you will remove the oil and spoil the moisturizing effect.

Save any extra paste in a clean container for your next treatment. It will keep for 1 to 2 months and does not need refrigeration.
